Fitness Classes

Fitness Classes

Our fitness classes are slightly more advanced and stick to a week by week blend of functional strength training & high-intensity conditioning. Prior to their first class, every member is required to pass a movement screening with one of our specialists.

OUR WARM UP

OUR
WARM UP

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

A big focus of our fitness classes is on our warm up. We educate and coach specific types of self myofascial release and bi-phasic stretching to help you understand your body better.

The goal of myofascial release is to help release restricted areas of the body, helping your body move more freely so your movements are restored and more pain-free.

CORRECTIVE & DYNAMIC

We then coach corrective exercises and dynamic movements to help get your body warm and moving as symmetrically as possible. This is a crucial part of strength training that many people overlook.

Our warm ups will always be specific to the area of the body being worked that day. If we have a lot of lower body exercises that day, we will focus mainly on warming up your glutes, quads and hamstrings.

INSTRUCTION

Here, there is a huge importance in making sure our members are moving correctly with good form. Some people learn visually, others learn based on using better cues. Either way, we make sure everyone is on the same page before we jump into the workout.

All fitness classes here are 1 hour long with the first 20 minutes being spent on our warm up and instruction.

STRUCTURE

Being part of our community requires showing up on time and dedicating an hour to pushing yourself as well as others. We design and stick to structured programs for you so we expect the same discipline on your end.

Remember, strength training takes time and is ultimately relative to the individual. Nutrition is a huge part of any weight loss or muscle building program. Our nutrition coaches can also help you stay on track with a personalized program.
