My passion for movement began with playing multiple sports in high school and continuing on to play volleyball in college. I love to downhill ski, waterski, hike, camp and backpack. I also have two kids who love to go camping and swimming in the summer and skiing in the winter.
I was motivated to become a trainer by a desire to help others lead healthy and fulfilling lives. I am passionate about meeting my clients where they are and using safe regressions and progressions to reach their goals. This involves using bodyweight exercises, bands, kettlebells, dumbbells, cables and barbells when appropriate. I enjoy being a part of my clients’ lives and watching them succeed.
I have been an NSCA certified personal trainer since 2004. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Lawrence University and I am a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). I’m also currently working towards my Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Russell Sage College.
